Single Parents Network
The purpose of the Single Parenting Network is to encourage each single parent in their endeavor to raise their children alone. To let them know that they are special and that they have the support of a church family standing behind them 100 percent. For their children we have mentors available to spend time with, and counsel with them on a personal level. There is nothing like having a roomful of single parents getting together to laugh, eat, have fun and get encouraged. We enjoy taking the time to talk to them one on one and finding out how God is taking care of them and their children time and again. We want to continue to minister to our River family single parents as much as, and as often as, we can. Our vision, however, does not stay within our church family. We want to reach out to single parents throughout the community through our monthly meetings, classes, and outings for the parents and the children. Our monthly meetings are:
We meet at different homes for lunch after church on Sunday's. Dates are subject to change and/or be added.
