Generation Elijah
Vision Statement:
1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
To move Godward, by Spirit led worship and the enforcement of the Word of God in the earth through prayer and preaching. To raise up a generation of apostles, prophets, and evangelists. To prepare this generation for the work of the ministry. We want to see a mighty move of God in these children. To teach them how to get into the presence of God wherever they are. We want to see the fire of God fall on these children and draw them into deeper relationship with him.
Hello! My name is Kayla Frank. I’m 20 years old and absolutely love children!! I have attended The River for 11 years and am a product of a teacher’s dedication and passion for children’s ministry. A few months ago children’s ministry was brought to me to pray about and after taking awhile to really pray about it I felt this was the direction God was leading me in during this time of my life. I have always known that I would be in some form of ministry and this door was opened to me. Children can teach us so much if we just listen. I am so excited to see how this ministry is going to boom and lives will be changed forever. I can’t wait to see a day when the children are leading US in worship!! My prayer for this ministry is to teach them how to get into the presence of God wherever they are not just in a church service but also in their homes, in their schools etc. I want to see the fire of God fall on these children and draw them in a deeper relationship with God. To know God through relationship and not just know him as a story in the Bible but to have a real relationship with him!!! To use the voice God gave them and to know it is important and they can make a difference!!
