Children's Ministry
The River’s Children’s Ministry is one of the most
important ministries that we offer. You’ve heard
it so many times before... the children are our
future. Here at the River we take that very
seriously. It is our goal to nurture and direct our
children in the way of the Lord, equipping them
with a firm foundation in the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. Each child is encouraged to worship and
praise the almighty God with all of their hearts.
During most worship services, all the children
come down to the front of the church to sing,
make a joyful noise, and help lead the worship.

It is vitally important that we teach our children the importance of having a strong relationship with God. As they grow older and move into adulthood they will always take with them the experiences of their childhood. We at the River believe that those experiences should all be a reminder of God’s love and faithfulness.

All children up the 6th grade are welcome to join us every Sunday and Wednesday. For more information please email us.

Children's Ministry Leader: Michele Netter
michellenetter Michele Netter has attended The River for 11 years with her husband Kevin who is the Director of Multimedia at The River. They have 2 children Marquis who is 9 years old and Allyson who is 4 years old. Michele has always enjoyed working with children. She has been teaching preschool age students since she was in high school. Michele is constantly amazed and blessed by how muich children can teach and lead us. Their willingness and eagerness to worship and show love to each other encourage Michele and each one of us here at The River. Michele's prayer for her own children and this generation
is that they will have a true relationship with God, and develop a love for God that we have never witnessed before in our children. We are all excited to see what God has in store for our children!
